This paper rethinks the role of college journals in the development of institutions of higher learning. It holds that college journals play an irreplaceable part in promoting the development of colleges and universities,for they help to display the achievements of scientif ic research of a college,propagate its advanced culture,built its platform of academic research,introduce new academic trends,support new scholars and maximize the integration of its academic resources.
