统一建模语言(Unified Modeling Language,UML)是业务、应用和系统架构的标准可视化建模语言。以UML的9种图为重点,简要介绍了UML的基本概念、历史、内容及其在软件工程中的作用。
The UML（Unified Modeling Language） is a standard visual modeling language which is about business,application and system architecture.The paper takes the nine kind of charts of UML as a key point.It generally introduces the basic concept,historical and content of UML and the function of UML in the software engineering.
