This paper describes the attributes, essence and importance of extraction transformation loading （ETL） technology by discussing the application in the business information system in unionpay. This paper introduces the total design of the unionpay data warehouse system ETL, elaborating the design strategy of ETL. The implementation of ETL for unionpay data warehouse system is put forward.
