Implementation of Loop Control in EPON System

基于以太网的无源光网络(EPON)作为一种新兴的接入技术,需要网络设计者提供环路控制能力以满足其运营管理维护(OAM)的要求。详细描述了无源光网络环路形成特点,分析了带生成树协议网桥的二层EPON,带集成路由模块的三层EPON,带集成RRPP功能模块的EPON。在EPON系统中采用具有环路控制功能的交换机,为有效地将环路问题控制在最小范围内提供了多种解决方案,获得了有益的结论。

As an emerging network access technology, the EPON system needs the loop control capability as the required OAM capability. This paper describe the specialty of loop formation in EPON.Analyse the second layer EPON system with STP bridge module,the third layer EPON system with Integrated Routing module,the EPON system with the Integrated RRPP module,the exchanger with the loop control package. Propose the above four methods to reduce effectively loop errors into. minimum range. As the results some useful conclusions are deduced.
