摘要
素质、素质教育的"词魂"与建设现代社会、培养现代人联系在一起。素质是人的本质。素质教育是改变和提升人的本质的教育,是变前现代的"传统人"为现代社会的现代人的教育,是实现人的现代化的教育。现代人的标志是具备能够自我超越的现代性。素质教育的发展令其意义超越了原先愿景中的与应试教育的对立,在评判素质教育是追求得到还是追求不到时,不必只把眼睛盯在应试教育的转变上。如果把素质教育理解为迈向现代社会中的现代教育,那么就能看到素质教育在培养现代性、现代人方面取得的成绩是明显的。由于素质教育有建设社会主义市场经济体制和现代社会的宏大主题作为社会背景,它在21世纪里将大有作为、大有前途。教育将伴随社会进步而实现现代转型,具体表现为:极端的应试教育被抛弃,主体性等教育的合理诉求成为现实,培养现代性、实现人的现代化煅入教育目标和社会实践。
The "spirit of the words" quality and quality education is connected with constructing modem society and bringing up modernists. Quality is the human nature, and quality education is to change and promote the human nature, to turn the "traditional people" in the pre-modern society into the modernists in the modern society, thus leading to the modernization of people. Since building the socialist economic market structure and the modern society is as the social background, morden transformation with regarded quality education will have a bright future in the 21st century.Education will fulfill the the social development.
