Breeding report of a new pear cultivar Chuxialǜ

初夏绿是以西子绿为母本,翠冠为父本杂交选育而成的早熟砂梨新品种。该品种树姿较直立,叶色亮绿,花芽易形成,坐果率高;果实长圆形,平均单果质量250g,果皮浅绿色,果锈少;果肉白色,肉质细嫩,汁液多,果心小,可溶性固形物11%;果实生育期105d,杭州地区7月中下旬为最佳采收期。

Chuxialǜ,a new early season pear cultivar,was derived from the cross between Xizilǜ and Cuiguan cultivars.The tree is upright and easy to produce flower buds with higher fruit setting rate.The leaf color is bright green.Its fruit is long globose with beautiful light-green skin（no/less russet spot）;dots are middle sized.The flesh is white,crisp and juicy,containing soluble solids of about 11% and the fruit core is small.The average fruit weight is about 250 g.It matures in middle July in Hangzhou area,Zhejinag province,with a fruit development period of about 105 d.
