The Acquisition of Articles and the L2 Syntactic Impairment:The Latest Developments of UG Access Research

中介语句法损伤研究是对普遍语法可及性的最新探讨,而今对中介语句法损伤研究的重心已由不自由词素屈折词缀的习得转移到自由词素冠词的习得。本文首先介绍了冠词选择参数和名词匹配参数理论,然后综述了有关冠词缺失和冠词替代与中介语句法损伤之间关系的研究,接着评述了对冠词缺失的句法学、形态学、音系学解释和冠词替代的语义学、句法学解释,最后指出本领域研究目前存在的问题和今后的研究方向。

The studies on the L2 syntactic impairment are the latest developments of the UG access research. So far the focus of the L2 syntactic impairment studies has shifted from the acquisition of the bound morphemes, inflections, to the acquisition of the free morphemes and articles. The theories of the Article Choice Parameter and the Nominal Mapping Parameter are introduced first in the article. Then,the studies of the article omission and article substitution and their implications on the L2 syntactic impairment are reviewed. Subsequently, the syntactic, morphological and phonological accounts of article omission as well as the semantic and syntactic accounts of article substitution are reviewed and evaluated. And finally, the problems with current research on article acquisition and the direction of future research are pointed out.
