Tang Shaoyi's Associations with Sun Yat-sen

唐绍仪和孙中山都是广东香山县人,属同时代的政治家。他们在民国初年曾共同为反对军阀独裁专制、维护民主共和而携手合作,同时在实现共同目标所采取的手段和方法上又存在着重大分歧,以致最后在政治方面分道扬镳。但两人是君子之交,并未反目为仇,反而一直保持着私人的过从和友谊。

Tang Shaoyi and Sun Yat-sen,both natives of Xiangshan County,were statesmen of the same time period.In the early years of the Republic,they cooperated to oppose the warlords tyranny and defend democracy and the republic;on the other hand,they had huge differences between them in the means and ways of achieving their common goal and ended up breaking up.But the two were gentlemen and maintained their honorable personal friendship.
