介绍了我国电极把持器导电横臂的发展历史及其不同于传统型的结构，比较了铁合金精炼炉和炼钢电弧炉对导电横臂的不同技术要求，阐述了导电横臂经改进后在铁合金精炼炉上应用的优缺点，并肯定了其显著的经济效益。
The development of electric conducting cross arm in electrode holder andits structure in our country are introduce.d. By comparison of the different technical requirements in ferroalloy refining furnace and EAF for steel making.
