首都城市园林绿化事业60年取得了举世瞩目的成就。认真回顾总结60年来城市园林绿化事业的发展历程和经验教训有利于今后城市园林绿化的健康发展。城市园林绿化突出生态本质,崇尚简约自然必将成为今后的发展趋势。首都园林绿化必须遵从正确的理念,应对挑战,抓住机遇,加快发展,提高水平,在2020年前把首都建设成为国内一流的生态园林城市。

The urban landscaping of the capital city Beijing has made remarkable achievements in the sixty years since the founding of P. R. China. Careful review and summary of its development process and experiences is helpful for the healthy development of urban landscaping in the future. Highlighting the ecological nature and advocating the natural simplicity will certainly become the development trend in the future. Landscaping of the capital city should comply with the concept,meet challenges,seize opportunities,accelerate development,and improve the level,and build the capital into one of the national first-class eco-garden cities in 2020.
