摘要
首先论述了地球系统科学的含义，随后探讨了地球系统科学的产生背景及概念，并概要地介绍了地球系统科学的应用领域。强调了从定性到定量的综合集成法是用地球系统科学研究全球环境变化的重要方法。论述了可持续发展与环境变化中的关系。最后，着重论述了地球系统科学在全球环境变化中的应用前景及意义。
The implications of geosystem and system science are discussed. The background and concept of geosystem science and the fields of its applications are presented.It is emphasized that the metasynthesis mehtod from qualitative to quantitative is an important approach to the researches of global environmental change in geosystem science.Meanwhile,the relationship between sustainable development and environmental changes is described.The application prospective and significance of geosystem science in global environmental changes are particularly stated.
