我国的人口、资源、环境和发展间的客观关系已经严重失调，单纯依靠采用生物技术或机械技术现代化道路，已不能从根本上解决我国的农业问题．在建立社会主义市场经济的前提下，通过农业资源利用、生产、流通、消费和管理各个领域的技术进步和制度的完善，走保护农业环境资源、节约利用和提高资源配置效率的资源之路，保护生产者收益并使生产者收入分配趋于公平的生产之路，市场流通起基础性调节作用并加强政府宏观调控的流通之路，消费规模适度、水平适宜和结构合理的消费之路以及通过信息化、法制化进行宏观管理的管理之路，才能建立起适合本国国情的可持续农业．

The harmony of the objective relations among population,resource,environment and development in China have been destroied.The agricultural problems can not be thoroughly solved only depend on the modernization of biological or mechanical technique.On the premise of building the Socialist Market Economy,the sustainable agriculture can be established through technical innovation and perfective administration system in fields such as agricultural resources utilization,production,circulation,consumption and macro management,and the way of protecting agricultural resources and promoting their utilization efficiency,the way of protecting the producers profits and making their income level equitable,the way of market system play a basic role and governments macro control and regulation to circulation,the way of appropriate consumption scale,level and structure,and the way of using perfect information systems and laws in macro agriculture management.
