穆旦译诗主张在意译基础上直译和意译有机结合,对原诗有意识地进行创造性叛逆,尽量使用本国词汇句法,适当采用欧化句式,注重形式和意象的翻译。在文学翻译上作出了巨大成就,也为我国的翻译理论作出了重要贡献。

In poems translation, MU Dan suggested that translation should be based on free translation and should combine free translation and literal translation to achieve consciously rebellious creativity. Chinese voeabulary and syntax should be used with a proper quantity of European syntax. He made great achievement and contribution to translation theory.
