There are many kinds of TV shadow masks which can be plotted in many ways. So the general CAD software kit which generates the plotting data of TV shadow masks becomes very important. The general algorithm studied by the authors and the transformation formula that offers different plate plotting ways are discussed. And the data inspecting software which is as important as the data generating software is also developed. The CAD kit has been successfully used to plot the 37 cm middle resolution CDT shadow mask and others.
