A Study of Sino-US Trade Balance Based on H-O Division of Labor

在中美双边贸易中,中方为顺差,美方为逆差已是不争的事实。正是这一失衡构成中美贸易争端的核心。但我们认为,要把中美贸易失衡放到国际贸易分工的新格局下进行研究,探究其深层次的原因,才能够为中美贸易失衡提供更为合理的解释,进而为恢复两国贸易平衡提出有效的对策。

In the Sino-US trade, it is an indisputable fact that the Chinese side is the surplus and the United States takes the side of deficit. It is this imbalance that constitutes the core of Sino-US trade disputes. However, we believe that we should study the Sino-US trade imbalance in the new pattern of the division of labor in international trade to explore the deeper reasons. Then we may provide a^more reasonable explanation for the Sino-US trade imbalance, so as to put forward some effective countermeasures to restore the balance of trade between the two countries.
