多元文化主义一直是欧美学界关注的重大议题。中国学者自20世纪80年代以来亦对多元文化主义的涵义、成因及影响进行了探析,他们在取得不俗成绩的同时也存在一些不足。

Multicuhuralism is the important subject under discussion which European and American academic circles pay close attention to. Chinese scholars have made a thorough inquiry into it since the 70＇ s of the 20th century. What they concerned included the implication, the contributing factors and the influences of the muhieulturalism. They have gained uncommon achievement and had some insufficiency at the same time.
