＂The Story of an Hour＂ of Kate · Chopin was the most famous novel to reflect female problems in the 19th century. It successfully created Mrs. Mallard image of tragic protagonist. The tragic fate of Mrs. Mallad mainly shows： she was insensitive while being in tragedy for a long time; to her surprise, she didn＇t know the family marrige life was not happy; she died suddenly when the frecdon life was coming. The personality of male right stifling and waknoss was the main reason of leading to Mrs Mallad＇ s tragedy.
