在成都歌剧院的设计竞标中，NHDRO为这个演艺综合场所设计的是一座由风景、美术馆、歌剧院三部分组成的建筑物。“风景”融合了大地、流水和天空，人们先要进入地下，在他们头顶是充满水的空间，一个犹如镶着银丝的结构支撑起”漂浮”的建筑。美术馆是一个堆叠起来的空间，满足了丰富多样的展示需要，而其中玻璃管形成的循环感赋予了它生命，一如血管之于人体一样。
