玉林话词法,有不同于普通话的构词形式:"中心语+定语";小称形式有小称变调,也有小称变音;名词词缀以及动词、形容词重叠式,与普通话相比有同也有异。
The morphology of Yulin dialect has different formation from that of Mandarin： ＂qualified ＋attributive＂ ; the wording of diminutive changes the tone and the vowel; the noun affixes and verb reduplicative and adjective reduplicative all share both similarities and differences with the Mandarin.
