ON THE MODERN CHINESE POETIC THOUGHTS AND CONFUCIANISM

中国现代诗学与儒家文化传统之间存在着深刻的渊源关系。中国现代诗学关注现实,关爱民众的生存状态;中国现代诗学追求内容与形式的统一、诗品与人品的统一、"小我"与"大我"的统一;中国现代诗学还注重诗歌的社会效果,主张诗人培养伟大健全的理想人格。中国现代诗学的上述品格,是在反传统的旗帜下对儒家文化的入世情怀、中庸的文化立场、圆满至善的人生境界等思想的承续。

There is a profound relationship between tradition of Confucianism and the modem Chinese poetic thoughts. The modem Chinese poetic thoughts pay close attention to reality, and they care about the people＇s living States too. To poems, they pursue a best combination of content with form, quality of poems with moral quality, as well as they try to get feelings of individual with masses in tune. They emphasize social effects of poetry, and they advocate cultivating poet＇s great, wholesome and perfect personalities. Above-mentioned features of the modem Chinese poetic thoughts are based on Confucianism. To some degree, it is a succession of the feelings of facing life, the cultural attitude of moderation, and the life＇s state perfection and supreme good, which are the remarkable traits of traditional Confucian culture.
