摘要
英语阅读是英语学习者语言综合水平的体现,是英语学习者必须掌握的基本技能,也是语言输入的途径。现代学生普遍存在阅读速度慢、理解能力弱的现象,如何提高学生的阅读能力,教师应如何有效地指导学生进行阅读。从语篇分析的角度,论证了提高学生英语阅读能力,使学生在有限的课堂教学中获取尽可能多的信息。
English reading is the manifestation of English learners' comprehensive language level, the basic skill that they should master, and also the means of language input. It is a common problem that college students can not read English fast and understand it quickly. The article focuses on what teachers should do to instruct students to read so as to enhance their reading capability. From the perspective of discourse analysis, the article puts forward some suggestions on how to enhance students' reading capability and make them procure information as much as possible in limited class teaching.
