特色是高等学校生存和发展的生命线。石家庄经济学院经过五十多年的建设,已经成为一所经、管、工、法、文、理协调发展的多科性大学,学校面向国土资源行业和社会经济发展,深化教学改革,明确办学思路,优化人才培养方案,突出办学特色,形成"地经渗透,工管结合"的人才培养模式,在学科、专业、课程建设等方面取得一系列显著成果,为社会培养输送了大批应用型人才。目前,学校在科学发展观的指导下,正采取措施,坚持特色,逐步形成以质量工程为抓手,以提高质量为核心,全面提升教学水平的新的工作思路。

Characteristic is vital for the existence and development of a university. Through 50 years of construction, Shijiazhuang University of Economics has developed into a multi-disciplinary university containing Economics, Administration, Technology＇, Law, Literature and Science. Oriented to the Land and Resource Industry and the local economic development, the university has deepened its reform and specified school-running thoughts and formed talent cultivation mode featured with ＂ disciplinary interactivity between Geology and Economics, Technology and Management＂, from which fruitful results have been made. At present, under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, the university is implementing a new plan to improve quality control as a core issue with the aim of promoting overall teaching quality.
