The fluorescence spectra of the mixture of phenol, resorcin and 1,3,5 trihydroxybenzene have been analyzed by multiwavelength linear regression method. In a buffered pH=6 86 solution the detection limit of phenol, resorcin and 1,3,5 trihydroxybenzene was found to be 0 48, 0 51 and 0 67 μg/L, respectively. The method has been applied to the simultaneous determination of the above phenols in the synthetical samples and pharmaceutical preparations with recoveries being in the range of 93 7% ̄106%.
