摘要
Tao Fengjiao,a rural woman in her fifties,has spent 16 years planting trees on dunes in her hometown in Changjiang Li Autonomous County,which is on the coast of the South China island province of Hainan.With the help of friends,she has planted trees on nearly 18,820 mu(1,255 hectares),and that has resulted in a green barrier along the western coast of the province.For her efforts,Tao has received many awards,including being named one of China’s Top 10 Women in Forestation,in 2008; a national March 8th Red-banner pace-setter;a national"Double Learning and Double Competition"winner;and a March 8th Green Medal winner.
陶凤交，十六年如一日，锲而不舍，在海边流动沙丘上植树造林近2万亩，在海南西海岸构筑了一道绿色屏障。
