摘要
"For children,paper-cut is a game or toy they can play with;for adults,it is a language to express(the sense of) art,"says Liu Ren,a woman paper-cut artist in Beijing.Paper-cutting is an art"full of treasures."Motivated by her passion for the art, she established Liu Ren Paper-cut House in Beijing in 1999,to both inherit and promote the traditional Chinese art form. The facility is China’s only private museum dedicated to paper-cuts. To celebrate the museum’s 10th anniversary,10 women paper-cut artists from Beijing, including Liu,held an exhibition of their works between May and mid-October,through which they hoped more people would learn to recognize and appreciate the ancient art form.
