摘要
综述了在毫米波(兼高微波频区)应用的非互易准光法拉第旋转环行器的近期发展,两种器件结构:传输型和反射型准光环行器在35GHz已成功的进行了试验,获得了较好的结果。这种器件能承受较高的功率容量,传输型限制在1~10kW(主要依赖于结构),而反射型因接地良好便于散热,理论预期在毫米波将可承受兆瓦(MW)级平均功率容量。
An overview was given on the recent advances in nonreciprocal quasi optical Faraday rotation circulators for millimeter wave or high microwave frequency applications.Good results were obtained for the two kinds of devices,transimission and reflection type circulators at 35GHz.The circulator can bear an high average power,1 to 10kW for transimission type and,an average power of up to MW order was predicted theoretically for reflection type circulators.
