Network Architecture of the Multimedia Communications Network

This article briefly introduces the network architecture of the multimedia communications net- work, discusses issues about the IP address and domain name, and further provides two networking models and their correspondent architecture characteristics in consideration of two possible de- velopment trends of the multime- dia communications network based on router or ATM ex- change.
