Teaching Foreign Language and Developing Innovation Ability

语言与人的认识有密切的联系,它既是认识成果的表达和体现,又是进一步认识的阶梯和工具,因而也是创新型认识的有效工具。学习和掌握一门新的语言就是掌握一个新的认识系统,这对于提高创新思维能力是非常重要的。所以我们在外语教学中应该力求贯彻创新能力的培养,从而提高学生的创新能力。

There exists a veryclose relationship between language and cognition, which is the expression and reflection of cognitive achievements, the ladder and tool for further cognition, and the effective instrument for innovative cognition. Mastering a new language is to master a new cognition system that is highly important for improving innovation thinking ability. Therefore, we should develop the students＇ innovation thinking ability in foreign language teaching in order to help students improve their innovation ability.
