Advanced English Teaching Within the Purview of Reading Theory

从阅读理论的角度出发,对阅读理论发展过程进行总结,对高级英语课堂教学现状进行总结和分析,同时对学界针对高级英语教学提出的各种教学方法进行概括性阐述,并根据高级英语教学大纲要求,对如何建立一套高级英语课堂教学的具体教学模式提出建议。

This paper, in the light of reading theories, makes a brief conclusion of their development. Based on the analysis of present advanced English teaching, the author summarizes different kinds of teaching approaches provided by scholars in advanced English teaching area. According to the English Syllabus for English majors issued by the Ministry of Education, this article comes to propose a set of teaching models for advanced English classroom teaching.
