An Analysis of Coherence in Conversational Discourse

连贯是语篇研究最重要的课题之一,在会话语篇中,它扮演着重要角色。根据Sperber和W ilson的关联原则,会话语篇中的连贯可以被分成两种:命题内容连贯和语境效果连贯。由于会话连贯在我们日常生活中不可或缺,所以如何使会话连贯显得重要。

Coherence is one of the most important subjects in discourse study, and it plays a significant role in conversational discourse. As a result of Sperber and Wilson＇ s Principle of Relevance, coherence in conversational discourse may be grouped into two types： propositional content coherence and contextual effect coherence. This paper attempts to discuss the importance of coherence in our daily life conversation and analyze the means used to establish coherence in conversational discourse.
