“译学”萌芽于康熙朝

"Translatology" Sprouted in Kangxi Dynasty of China

现代翻译理论注重系统性,而系统性的产生有赖于对范畴、概念、术语及其相互关系的梳理与探究。"翻译学"不仅是一个核心译学范畴,并且已成为翻译学科的名称。本文拟对"翻译学"作为学科称谓在中国的起源及意义作一些探索和论述,并阐释笔者对其作为核心译学术语的理解。

Modern translation theory attaches great importance to systematicness in research methods, which entails the sorting out and studying of categories, concepts, terms and their relations. ＂yixue＂ （translatoIogy） is now not only a core translation category, but the name of the discipline of translation. It is therefore intended in this paper to probe into and elaborate on ＂yixue＂ as a discipline name in respect of its origin in China, and also to give the author＇ s understanding of this core translation term.
