《钟形罩》是美国著名诗人西尔维亚.普拉斯的自传体小说。小说在笼罩死亡阴影的情结里,忠实记录了女主人公孤独、绝望与挣扎的心灵历程。拟从关注主人公的精神危机和死亡情结出发,根据精神分析理论,围绕文本中"水、黑色和镜子"等主要意象,分析该小说的死亡主题。

Sylvia Hath was a famous American poet. The Bell Jar is her autobiographical novel,in which the shadow of death haunted. The novel fully displays the loneliness, despair and struggle in heroine＇s spiritual world concerned with the main images （darkness,water and mirror）. This paper attempts to analyze the theme of death in The Bell Jar from the perspective of psychoanalysis.
