摘要
做名词修饰语的过去分词何时前置.何时后置,一直是英语语法学习中的一个难题。本文对英语专业学生在开授语法课前及一个学期语法课结束后对该语法的掌握情况进行了调查,发现并无显著改善。实验表明,传统语法教学对该语法的表述和概括不够清晰,学习者接受起来有难度,可考虑从次范畴化,语用限制等方面解释。同时,在学习某一语法现象时,不能只是讲述规则,然后让学生生成句子.必须大量地接触真实语料.
