POSITIVE EFFECTS OF THE WESTERN CHINA INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY AND TRADE FAIR

中国西部国际博览会是经国务院批准为加快西部大开发而专门举办的以商品贸易、投资合作、商务研讨为一体的国家级国际经贸盛会,针对这一重要发展机遇,重点分析了"西博会"所带来的六大效应:"乘数效应"、"辐射效应"、"虹吸效应"、"品牌效应"、"倒逼效应"和"聚变效应"等,并指出,由于以上效应的综合作用,"西博会"正在成为中国西部地区经济跨越的新引擎、区域合作的加速器、对外开放的新杠杆。

Western China International Economy and Trade Fair is a great event which involves various economic activities as trade fair,investment and cooperation negotiation,business seminars.This important opportunity has greatly improved economic development in western China in many ways.This paper mainly discusses the six positive effects of 'Western China Fair':multiplier effect,radiation effect,siphon effect,brand effect,fusion effect.The authors point out that those effects are becoming the engine and accelerator of economic development and inter-regional cooperation in West China.
