The article points out the smoothness of asphalt pavement is the important index of assessing the quality of asphalt pavement, analyzes various factors influencing the smoothness of asphalt pavement, i.e. pavement base, construction technology and construction technique of asphalt surfacing, material component of asphalt mixture and etc., and puts forward the several measures to enhance the smoothness.
