On Strategic Choice of National Culture Development from the Perspective of Globalization

经济全球化不仅深刻改变着人类社会经济的发展进程,而且对人类的文化生活也产生了巨大影响。全球化时代文化的趋同蕴含着巨大的活力,但全球化对民族文化的本土性和独特性又构成了严重的威胁。在全球化背景下,民族文化应顺应时代潮流,积极应对西方文化的挑战,在世界多元化的交融中保持自己的个性,并通过不断选择和吸纳,组成一种具有鲜明特点的、与时俱进的创新文化,以促进中国社会和民族文化的持续发展。

Economic globalization not only brought profound changes of economic development process of human society, but also had big impact on cultural life of human being. Tending towards the same makes cultures become highly dynamic in an era of globalization, but globalization at the same time poses big threat to locality and peculiarity of national culture. Under the background of globalization, national culture should keep up with times and positively meet the challenge of Western culture, keeping its own uniqueness, choosing constantly and absorbing merits of other cultures. Finally an innovated culture with its own distinctive feature is formed so as to promote sustainable development of Chinese society and national culture.
