小波变换的分形特性

Fractal Property of Wavelet Transform

利用小波变换和多分辨分析对分形的尺度变化性质作了分析，得出了小波变换的平移不变性与分形变换的尺度不变性是一致的的结论；并据此提出了一种采用小波变换和ＩＦＳ分形编码相结合的新的图象编码方法。

This paper analyses the inter scale properties of the fractal with the aid of the wavelet transform and general multiresolution analysis,so we have a conclusion that the translation invariance of the wavelet transformwill be matched by the homogeneity of the scale.This is a viewpoint that we suggest anew way of coding images using combination of the wavelet transform and the IFS fractal transform.
