In this paper, the IGBT module used in two-phase direct current chopper is introduced. Through the feature comparison of the IGBT module and the GTR module, the designs attention of two-phase direct current chopper by the IGBT module is discussed. It is proved that the equipment used IGBT in the electric has a more superior performance, especially in aspect of current balanced.
