本文通过实地调查长沙市英语公示语的使用情况,了解目前长沙市公示语英语翻译中的种种错误并对其原因进行分析,提出了相应的改进措施,旨在改善长沙市英语公示语使用环境。

Based on the survey of English public signs in Changsha, the paper classifies and analyzes reasons of the transaltion errors in English public signs, followed by the suggestion on improving the English public signs in Changsha.
