文章着重阐述了全国安居工程试点城市之文明示范小区———应城市月圆小区详细规划和单体设计的特点，以及运用室内外空间创造艺术效果以改善人居环境和提高住居质量。
The writer mainly expounds the detailed planning of Yueyuan district in Ying city which is the model district of settlement works in China. He also expounds the characteristics of building design and how to use the internal and external space to creat the art effects in order to inprove the environment and quality of settlements.
