摘要
语篇是一个具有完整语义的自然语言单位。衔接和连贯是保持语篇及其段落连贯性的两个重要原则和重要特征。语篇与翻译密切相关,因此,在翻译实践中,要从语篇的整体性出发,充分考虑衔接与连贯,在保持原文语篇风格的同时,尽可能地使译文自然流畅。
Discourse is a complete, natural semantic unit. And cohesion and coherence are the two important principles and characteristics in maintaining the coherence of the whole discourse and its para- graphs. Discourse and translation are close related with each other. Thus, in practical translation, we should make fully consideration of cohesion and coherence as well as the entire discourse, in keeping with the original style of the discourse, to produce fluent version.
