The paper summarizes the main achievement in environemntal information in Shanxi province during the l lth Five Year with the support of national environmental information management policies, analyzes some disadvantages in this area, gives a brief overview of the working prospects and the key developing targets of the environmental information in the province, upgrading the information application in envirenmental management to a new high level.
