On the Positioning and Content of the Concept of Scientific Development

科学发展观的科学定位和对其丰富内容的完整把握,是学者和实践工作者十分关注的问题。对科学发展观进行定位时,不能把它简单看成是一个战略或自成的体系,而应是与邓小平理论、"三个代表"重要思想一脉相承的中国特色社会主义理论体系中的最新成果。科学发展观在新世纪、新形势下,进一步回答了什么是科学发展、为什么要科学发展和怎样科学发展等一系列问题,内容博大精深,十分丰富。

The scientific positioning of the concept of scientific development and the fully understanding of its rich contents are the major concerns of scholars and practitioners. When we position the concept of scientific development, we cant simply regard it as a strategy or an independent system, but as a new outcome of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics which comes down in one continuous line as Deng xiaoping＇s Theory and the important thought of ＂Three Represents＂. The concept of scientific devclopmeut provides solutions to a series of problems such as what is scientifc development, why to develop scientifically and how to develop scientifically, etc. The contents are rich and profound.
