儿童作为非成人,处于原初状态,如何由幼稚走向成熟,由孤独走向温暖,由个体走向类存在,成为自我的主人。劳动作为儿童的自然本性,在其中起着重要的中介作用。劳动对于儿童摆脱自然状态走向自我的解放具有积极的意义,有助于促进儿童的精神成长,培育儿童的自由意志,使儿童诗意地生活。
