The Impact of Popular Culture on Teenager s' Personality

大众文化是一种深刻影响青少年人格的社会存在。一方面,大众文化的发展提供给青少年一个较为宽松、自由的文化场,为青少年现代人格的自由形成和发展创造了新的发展空间。另一方面,大众文化人文精神的空场,又可能导致青少年人格需求的物化、人格判断的困惑和人格行为的失范。为此,应大力加强人文素质教育,培养青少年的人文精神。同时,积极引导大众文化的发展,为青少年创设健康文化环境。

The popular culture is one kind of social existence which have deep affection on young people＇s personality. One the one hand, the development of popular culture provides a loose and free culture field for teenagers and creates new development space for the free formation and growth of their modern personality. On the other hand, the lack of humanistic spirit in mass culture may cause the materialization of personality needs, confusion of personality judgment and anomie of personality behaviors. Therefore, we should vigorously strengthen humanistic education and cultivate the spirit of humanities, and meanwhile actively guide the development of mass culture, create a healthy cultural environment for young people.
