一种新型短波电台的高速PCI接口的设计与实现

摘要 针对传统短波电台功能单一、升级换代复杂的缺点,研究并实现了一种基于PCI接口的新型短波数字电台。重点介绍了该电台中PCI接口的相关设计与实现,采用内置PCI接口模块的高性能DSP TMS320C6416直接实现信道机与主控计算机的硬件连接,利用DriverStudio和VisualStudio等软件完成驱动的开发和调用、DSP程序加载,以及高速数据传输,并提出了利用PCI接口与光电转化模块相结合的新方法,实现电台功能的远程升级。调试结果表明,这种PCI接口能使电台在功能扩展性、处理速度、软件开发和升级便利性、工作稳定性等方面得到有效改善。 To solve the problems in traditional transceivers, such as functional weakness, difficulty of exploitation, a new kind of shortwave digital transceiver based on PCI bus is studied and implemented. The paper focuses on the design and implementation of the new trans- ceiver' s PCI interface. An efficient PCI--embedded DSP TMS320C6416 chip is used for the direct hardware connection with the host computer. The procedure of PCI driver exploitation, DSP bootload and high--speed transmission are implemented in DriverStudio and Visual Studio. Furthermore, a new method to realize the long--distance upgrade is proposed, using PCI interface and photoelectrical transformation module. The test result shows that, with the help of this scheme, the whole transceiver has effective improvement on the function expansibility, processing speed, updating convenience, and stability.
