方以智与桐城泽社考论

Fang Yizhi (方以智)and a Literary Society Named "Ze She" (泽社)in Tongcheng

方以智为明清之际著名思想家、大学者之一,成就卓著。他早年于家乡桐城曾结泽社,具有文人社团性质,但今人对此知之不多。泽社之成立不迟于崇祯元年(1628年),方以智与社友课读其间以应举业,并进行文学活动,长达七年之久;泽社的社课为方以智的文学及学术发展奠定了坚实的基础。泽社为明代文人结社的缩影。

Fang Yizhi is a famous thinker and scholar in the late Ming and the early Qing dynasty. Ealier in his life, he organized a literary society named ＂Ze She＂ in Tongcheng City, which is seldom mentioned nowadays. This society was founded by 1628, the first year under the reign of Chong Zhen in the Ming Dynasty. Fang Yizhi and members of his society had carried out literary activities there for seven years,which laid a solid foundation for Fang Yizhi＇s academic career. The formation of literary societies became a trend in the Ming Dynasty.
