Research Development of Magneto-optic Material for Optic Communication

摘要 综述并分析了磁光玻璃、晶体和薄膜3类磁光材料的影响因素、制备工艺、性能和研究现状,并分别将3类磁光材料的研究成果列表对比。重点介绍了磁光晶体YIG的生长工艺因RoHS的实施而向无铅化发展的情况和掺杂稀土铁石榴石在光通信波段中的性能优势和工艺瓶颈。最后对光通信用磁光材料的未来发展趋势进行了展望。 In this paper, the impact factors, fabrication process, properties and research development on magneto-optical glass, crystal and film utilized are summarized and analyzed, and then some research results of these three kinds of magneto- optical materials are listed for contrast. The research progress of YIG growth without Pb by tile using of RoHS is described especially. Meanwhile the property advantages and process choke point of doped rare-earth iron garnet in the waveband of optic communication were also described. Finally the development trends of magneto optic materials are prospected.
