我国古代典籍英译中存在着官职翻译错位的现象,文化的差异和译者的轻视是导致翻译错位的重要原因。我国古代官职名称的翻译可以采用对应法和解释法。对应法能让目的语读者轻松地了解原文意义,还能传递我国的文化因素,但其使用局限性大。解释法可以运用于多种情况,但在文化传递方面要弱于前者。

There are phenomena of translation mismatches of ancient Chinese official titles in Chinese classical literature translation. Cultural differences and translator＇s ignorance of its importance lead to mismatches in the translation of ancient Chinese official titles. We can use the ways of correspondence and explanation in the translation of ancient Chinese official rifles. Correspondence is a good way to transmit meaning as well as cultural information,but it doesn＇t work in many eases. Explanation can make target language readers understand the meaning well,but it can＇t transmit the culture information.
