建设中国特色社会主义核心价值体系最根本的就是坚持马克思主义的指导地位,本质上就是坚持实事求是。实事求是的思维方式是中国共产党在把马克思主义与中国实际相结合的过程中逐步形成的。中国特色社会主义的事业随着马克思主义的中国化、马克思主义的大众化,特别是中国特色社会主义道路的形成,坚持马克思主义的指导地位将更加地牢固。

Upholding the guiding role of Marxism is the most important thing to build the core value system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, which, in essence, means the persistance in seeking truth from facts. Communist Party of China has developed a realistic way of thinking in the process of combining Marxism with China＇s reality. The guiding role of Marxism in building socialism with Chinese characteristics will be stronger with the Chinalization of Marxism, the popularity of Marxism, and especially the construction of socialist road with Chinese Characteristics.
